Such a wonderful heart bhajan...and sweet nectar come from lips
Of Srila Prabhupada...
His wonderful lotus eyes, look like two wonderful spiritual worlds...
Full of love, happinnes, and bliss...
Its Lord GauraHari and Nityananda Chandra,
Who look like moon and sun in transcendental heaven...
Are dancing with tears of pure love for Lord Shyama...
They spread wonderful mercy,
Which makes cry everyone, and never forgot Kana....
That wonderful Hari Himself, who steals our hearts,
And breaks like a pot, full of false ego...
All this we can see in transcendental eyes of Srila Prabhupada...
Who drowns in mercy of Lord Madhusudana...
And never came back...

Aunt sees Lord Jagannatha

Yesterday evening one of the congregation devotee, she is from Bhubaneswar told me this:

Her aunt told her this story, what actually happened to her 12 years ago on the way to Hrsikesa.

She was going to Hrsikesa kumba-mela. She was very worried about how she is gonna reach there, she was 70 around and has 2 sons who she didn't trust...they can't even buy a train ticket. Night before while she was worrying about the traveling a divine light came through her mind....

Next morning went to the station to get on a train up North from Orissa. There she met 3 persons, they were sitting on a bench, they had 3 old travel boxes like villagers has. She explained to them her pitiful situation and lamented how she's gonna make the journey. The 3 persons, one dark man, one light man and a girl said that they will go there too and she shouldn't worry, they will help.

So for 10 days she has been under the care of these 3 persons. They bought the tickets and got very easy pandas at Hrsikese to do the ceremonies what is otherwise very difficult. About 100 pandas there for millions of people. So the 3 persons remind her that she should do her Ganga puja now...she remembered that she brought a sari for this.

So before they separated at the end of journey she asked how could I keep contact with them. They give their address on a paper.

When the lady visited Puri she went to search up the address. It was the Jagannatha sweet shop. She looked for these 3 persons but no one knew about them. They do not live here. Then she remembered the 3 persons also said when she goes to that address then she just need to turn around and opposite the road will see their house. She turned around and she faced to the Main gate of Jagannatha Mandir.

Then she suddenly realized.....she sat down and was crying..... She realized the 3 persons were Jagannatha Baladev and Subhadra... the girl was yellow.....by the way......

She was crying that she never touch there feet and never offered obeisances.

This story was so deep for her that she never said even to her sister. But she told somehow to her niece who I heard from.

This is just one of the amazing story of Jagannatha Mahaprabhu.......

Dear Guru Deva & Dear Devotees
PAMHO.
Chanting & Hearing , the two most important & very effective process of devotional service out of the nine kinds of devotional services mentioned in our scriptures.
?Shravanam Kirtanam Vishno Smaranam Padasevanam Archanam Vandanam Dasyam Sakhya Atmanivedanam.?
The first two ?Shravanam? & ?Kiirtanam? which we can find to be the basis & basics of all other seven process following. And we can find that ?Shravanam & Kiirtanam? is a simultaneous process & two exists together without anykind of separation.
We get a clear picture of this when we chant ourself the Mantrarajas.
In Chanting the process of
?Shravanam & Kiirtanam happens simultaneously , that is why our scriptures & acharyas ask us to CHANT the Holy Names of The Lord.
Dear Prabhu?s & Mataji?s,
Once again I request you to accept my humble obeisance?s at your lotus feet & shower your blessings so that I can pen down my feelings while chanting the holy names. I cannot use the word realization here as I don?t think that I am qualified to experience any realization. But My Gurudeva asked me to share my feelings when I performed 64-64-64 rounds chanting on this Gaura Poornima and it is my Guru deva?s blessings & motivation which gave me the determination to chant continuously on Gaura Poornima and he asked me to do so near Thulasi devi.
As usual after the Mangala arati and the Bhoga offering We(myself & mataji) started our Japa Yajna(64-64-64 & 32-32-32 me & mataji respectively).We considered this as a promise to our Guru deva & to accept prasdam(Ekadashi kind) only after completing the promised rounds and it took full day till late night to complete the promised rounds. I don?t know how to tell about of my experience on chanting but cannot keep away from telling some because I feel this can be of some kind of motivation to the devotees aspiring for chanting more rounds & the advanced devotees will kindly guide this fallen soul to correct the errors in chanting more rounds.
I have never been to Mayapur but on this Gaura poornima I was roaming around Mayapur hither & thither canting the Holy Names of our Lord requesting HIM to manifest in my heart, I went to different holy places in Mayapur like Birth place of little Nimai , house of Nandanacharya , Srivas angan and like that my mind was continuously meditating upon Mayapur Dham waiting for our Lord to appear. Lord Gauranga?s different pastimes came to my mind completely immersing me in full bliss which I have never experienced before in my life & I felt this everlasting. I was totally depend upon Guru?s & Gauranga?s mercy. I never felt sleepy,hungry & tired , chanting with full energy every time enjoying the pastimes of my beloved lord.
I felt that this is the right kind of celebration , previously I have read in an article a quote by Shrila Gaurakishora dasa babaji asking every one in Vrindavan Dham to fast & chant on the most auspicious appearance day of Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu he said it is the right way to celebrate Lords appearance day, when he was asked by someome regarding how to celebrate on appearance day of Lord Gauranga ,
I was thinking all the while chanting that how mercifull is our Lord Gauranga that he has given us the simplest & safest way to know HIM by chanting HIS necterean Holy Names. I felt like Lord Gauranga asking me from within to chant, chant ,chant which gave me more & more energy to continue my chanting.
Finally I understood one thing that the chanting process is the best way to know our beloved Lordships better than any other process in this dark age of kali. In this material world no other process other than devotional service in Krishna Consciousness by chanting HIS holy names can give us permanent happiness which we will yearn for more & more. Chanting extra rounds on Holy days will be stepping stone for increasing our daily rounds from 16 to 32 & to 64(recommended by The Lord himself).Requesting to my Gurudeva & all dear devotee?s to correct me if I have written something wrong out of my fallen condition & ignorance.

The Stats of Bhakti Ebook distribution

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Since large databases often have many books within them, distributing even one of them is equivalent to distributing hundreds, if not thousands of ebooks. Take Nitaai Veda and Gaura Ebook for example. With only 560 downloads for Nitaai veda and 540 for Gaura Book, actual no. of books distributed 60*5000 = 2,800,000 books, 560*12000 = 67,200,000 articles and lectures (Nitaai Veda) and Gaura Ebook has distributed 540*100 = 54,000 books and 540*4500 = 2,430,000 articles. These are staggering numbers. Apart from that there is no cost involved in printing ebooks and they can be distributed easily.

But the catch is that if this many paper books were distributed, they would be able to reach millions of people. Although ebook distribution can distribute huge numbers of books, the number of people receiving the benefits is only about the number of downloads, which in this case is 1100. Beyond this are the other benefits of paper books in handling, ease of use, far less physical strain (sitting before a PC for long is tiring), aesthetics, presentation, portability, etc...which can never be matched by ebooks. Ebooks can only serve if the technology is available.
So Each has its own advantages and the right approach would involve both types of distribution. I personally feel that ebook distribution can only enhance paper book sales and can never interfere in the distribution of paper books.

Every student is expected to become Acarya. Acarya means one who knows the
scriptural injunctions and follows them practically in life, and teaches
them to his disciples. I have given you sannyasa with the great hope that in
my absence you will preach the cult thruout the world and thus become
recognized by Krishna as the most sincere servant of the Lord. So I'm very
pleased that you have not deviated from the principles I have taught, and
thus with power of attorney go on preaching Krishna consciousness, that will
make me very happy as it is confirmed in the Guru vastakam yasya prasadat
bhagavata prasadah just by satisfying your Spiritual Master who is accepted
as the bona fide representative of the Lord you satisfy Krishna immediately
without any doubt.
