Nityaananda Gauraanga Hare Krishna! My pranams!

Today a realization came to me while doing Gauranga Healing for a friend whose baby’s sick with swine flu. When I chanted the Holy names, it was totally beautiful and I could understand that that baby and for a split second everyone is a devotee of the Lord and we are all eternally connected to each other. Seeing that was so fulfilling I knew that it had worked and this wasn’t doing things mechanically at all.

But it went more. I could also see that at heart, everyone is a devotee though they are not aware of it and it is covered by illusion. But it is very much there and then I could even see it in the terrorists and gangsters. It is not that we get a spiritual body,get to the Lord’s abode like its some far off place and seek and obtain the spiritual world — the spiritual world is always with us and our spiritual forms, names, pastimes, qualities, relationships with the Lord and other devotees are eternally there and it is true –but it is covered up. All I have to do is ‘just’ realize that — it is
all the process of becoming conscious of what is eternally existing, but what we have forgotten.

It went even more. I could understand that an advanced devotee with spiritual vision sees not just the soul, but also sees their spiritual forms, names, qualities, pastimes, activities, relationships, the spiritual world, the Lord and all of it put together. I was wondering till now that you could see a soul, but how could you see a pure devotee dancing with the Lord when they are bewildered in this material world. So now by your mercy I understood that devotees see the complete svarupa of the soul in all aspects. This goes beyond time and space and all relative circumstances. My vision was based on relative experience so I was trying to see spiritual vision with my limited knowledge so I did not understand anything. But that one split second changed it.

Now I understand a little about that sloka in the Bhagavad Gita that says that an advanced devotee sees everyone with equal vision, dog, man, demigod, dog-eater, plant, etc…The whole of Gauranga Healing is contained in that verse. I was thrilled to bits.

So ultimately the soul is always embraced by the Lord’s love everywhere, and great devotees can see it all. That is how the spiritual masters tell their disciples of their svarupa and tell them their spiritual identity and pastimes, because they see it all along. This is the ekadasha bhava realization that we see in Jaiva Dharma and other advanced texts.

However this can’t be understood simply by telling people, “You are this and that.” That is simply mundane like my conditioned vision. The limited ego can never grasp such a thing theoretically or by imagination. The souls need to realize who they are and it is not simply a transmission of words, but it is a spiritual awakening that takes place at the highest level. That is why such intimate realizations of the svarupa of devotees are never described to public by devotees. It can never be grasped by anyone who hasn’t realized it oneself. This is absolutely incredible!  This is all only due to the Lord’s mercy and the mercy of Swamiji and devotees like Hadai prabhu who guide me at every step along the spiritual path. I am feeling quite (can I say blissful) after this healing session. It isn’t fully describable, but you know very well what it is.
